The company has been family owned since its founding in 1960 by Dan Gibb. John Roethel, a 25 year veteran of Gibb served as operations manager. In 1993, Chris Roethel joined his father on the Gibb team learning all areas of company operations. In 1999 he took over responsibilities as administrative director. This change allowed Gibb to streamline operations and service its’ clients more efficiently and cost effectively. In 2001, after graduation from Marquette University, Chris and his father purchased the business. Gibb has differentiated itself from the many competitive providers in the area by implementing new technologies, and quality standards and processes to better communicate with and service our partners. We are committed to providing higher value and relationship-driven services to our partners throughout the region.

Today, Gibb offers the very best maintenance programs and specialty services at competitive prices. We’ve built our reputation on honesty, reliability, and outstanding performance by taking the time to understand the needs and expectations of our partners, and providing them with the best solutions and consistent service. We establish long term partnerships, built on communication and then raise the bar of performance beyond our client and partner expectations.

We presently employ approximately 150 team members consisting of owners, management, supervisors/account managers, operations, project and general cleaning staff. Our average team member turnover rate is currently only 13%, well below industry averages. A number of our team members have worked for Gibb an average of 15+ years and we take pride in retaining our partner service for 7.2 years, also far above industry averages.
